Trevor Noah will return to anchor the 2025 Grammys − set to air Feb. 2 live on CBS from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET. This year’s show marks the former late-night host’s fifth consecutive run as master of ceremonies.

The Recording Academy announced earlier this month that the show would go on, in spite of devastating wildfires that have ravaged California in recent weeks. Several other major events were canceled or postponed in the wake of the disaster, including the Critic’s Choice Awards and a Rose Bowl performance from The Weeknd.

Trevor Noah speaks during the 66th Annual Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, 2024.

“The 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards will carry a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” a CBS release shared with USA TODAY said.

The awards will take place in the heart of Los Angeles at the Crypto.com arena.

Noah, who rose to greater fame when he replaced longtime host Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” has since added several hyphenates to his title, becoming a podcast host and author.

His style, which sometimes opts for silliness where his peers are biting or sardonic, has become a hallmark of the Grammys. It will be up against a new political backdrop, though, as one of the first major Hollywood awards ceremonies to take place during the second Trump administration.

Whereas awards ceremonies have in the past served as a podium for Hollywood to signal distaste for the president, Trump’s round 2 seems to be marked by a more subdued reaction. All eyes will be on Noah (and the night’s winners) to see if the trend continues.
